Hi! I am Rebecca Hanney an illustrator, creative strategist and art director based in the south of England. I obtained the degree of bachelor of the arts with First Class Honours in Graphic Arts: Illustration at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. I recently completed my Masters in Advertising at the University of the Arts London specialising in research, creative strategy and art direction.

My approach to graphic communication and advertising is rooted in human truth and storytelling, executing my ideas through mediums including digital and traditional illustration, 2D digital animation, stop motion animation, clay and paper-mache. Since starting my creative career my work has consisted of children’s books, comic books, adverts, branding, content creation and sculptures.

Alongside my work, I run my art business Drunk Fairy Designs where I sell prints, stickers and apparel inspired by my projects concept art, sketches and everyday thoughts as well as everyday life experiences with ADHD and dyslexia .
